• The release date of actress Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood debut Baywatch has been set on May 19, 2017. 
• The film's principal photography has already begun, Paramount Pictures announced on Friday.
• The American studio also disclosed that the movie would be shot in Miami and Savannah.
• Baywatch is the film version of the popular 1990s TV series of the same name. Priyanka, who has received rave reviews for her performance in the international TV space with Quantico, will be seen in a negative role in the movie.
• The actress co-stars with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron in the film.
• Director Seth Gordon will direct the film, the screenplay of which has been written by Damian Shannon, Mark Swift, and Barry Schwartz.
• The film will be released in India by Viacom18 Motion Pictures
