Sonakshi Sihna is now a Guinness Book World Record Holder

• To celebrate International Women’s Day, Sonakshi Sinha entered an event where she participated with several other women to set the record for ‘most people painting their fingernails simultaneously.
• Sonakshi Sinha said‘As a kid; I used to wait for the Guinness Book of World Records to come and use to think if I would get my name into it someday.I feel today the day is so special as I was able to be a part of this prestigious book along with such beautiful ladies and it feels great.
• Further, talking about women empowerment, the Dabangg Sonakshi said, ‘A lot of women have started voicing their thoughts today, and that is the biggest step one can take for women empowerment. I believe that there is nothing better than women empowering women and if we support each other than no one can stop women from growing.
• By inviting thousands of women on the day, Poland-based cosmetic brand Inglot, after partnering with its Indian franchise partner Major Brands India Pvt Ltd, presented a leading platform to create the record, where they will highlight their range of O2M breathable nail ENAMEL.
• Accompanied by her mother, Poonam Sinha, the duo had a lot of fun and also clicked pictures showing vibrantly painted nails.

Sonakshi Sinha Will Promote "Tiger Protect Camp"

• Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will promote 'Tiger Protect Camp' to protect and conserve the tiger population in India on TV.
• Wildlife channel Animal Planet has announced its fifth annual campaign, where Sonakshi will be the face of the channel’s 2016 "Where Tigers Rule" campaign. 
• Sonakshi said “Danger Se Darr Nahi Lagta Endangered Se Lagta Hai” Sonakshi said , expressing her emotion on the tiger crisis in India.
• “I believe that humans have to respect other species and their habitats and adapt to co-exist. My parents took me to a national park to see a tiger and I would certainly love to take my children one day and show them this magnificent creature,” Sonakshi said.
• Starting March 1, the channel will offer viewers, based on their lives, habitats and behaviour of various tiger species.
• The show will bring  stories of tigers, their co-existence with humans, the threatening environment and the conservation efforts of leading experts from India and around the world. 
• The campaign is filmed at India’s magnificent forests, grasslands and protection reserves, including Madhya Pradesh’s Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks, Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett National Park, Rajasthan’s Sariska and Ranthambore National Parks, West Bengal’s Sunderbans and Maharashtra’s Tadoba.

• Satrugan Sinha says"Everyone's biography is all about praises but mine is different. That is why it's entertaining and interesting. That's why this is bestselling," said Shatrughan Sinha. 
• Actor Amitabh Bachchan launched the biography, which has been written by renowned columnist, critic and author Bharathi S Pradhan.
• "I am too scared to read the book. There are certain things in a parent's life that the child just should not know," said Sonakshi.
