Hrithik Roshan was first choice for the male lead in Karan Johar’s Partition drama," Kalank", which is being directed by 2 States director Abhishek Varman.
But the Hrithik Roshan says second ‘No’ to KJo. You may recall that Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for Shuddhi. After signing on the dotted line, the good-looking actor walked out of the project.
Hrithik Roshan told KJo in no uncertain terms that he was not interested in doing a period drama.
A source close to the development says, “Hrithik has already done Jodha Akbar and his next, Mohenjo Daro too is a historical. So he was certain that he didn’t want to be a part of another period drama again.”

Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan are set to lock horns at the box office with “Rustom” and “Mohenjo Daro”, releasing in August.
There were reports that makers of “Rustom” are negotiating with Ashutosh Gowariker to push release date of his film, “Mohenjo Daro”. They claimed in reports that they had announced the release date of August 12 first.
“As the spokesperson of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, I would like to clarify that he has not been spoken to and that there is no change in the release date of ‘Mohenjo Daro,’ the statement said.
As officially announced more than a year ago, on January 15, 2015, the film will release on August 12, 2016. There is a specific promotional plan in place for our film and our campaign will begin as scheduled by our team for the same.
“Mohenjo Daro” is an epic love story, set in the Indus Valley civilization. As per reports, the film is about the protagonist falling in love with his enemy’s daughter with Hrithik and newcomer Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
Akshay Kumar-Ileana D’Cruz starrer “Rustom” on the other hand is reportedly a film based on the 1959 Nanavati case .It is directed by Tinu Suresh.

Filmmaker Siddharth Anand, who has previously worked with Hrithik Roshan in Bang Bang in 2014 to bring us the desi version of Tom Cruise's Knight and Day.
Earlier the director had said, "Hrithik (Roshan) is always on top of my mind, but I haven't finalised anyone as yet. It can be a new actor as well." But the daily, with a quote from a source, claims that Hrithik will be our desi, John Rambo.
The source also says that Hrithik will take some time to prepare for the role. He will need to invest efforts to bring the iconic character to life. It shall not be a very daunting task for him to get into the shoes of Sylvester Stallone.The film is currently in its pre-production stage
Hrithik is currently busy with two films, one being Mohenjo Daro opposite Pooja Hegde and Kaabil opposite Yami Gautam.

Celebrities Watches Screeing of Sonam Kapoor'S Neerja

Several celebrities from the glamour and cricket world including Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar And Hrithik Roshan attended the special screening of Sonam Kapoor starrer “Neerja”.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai, Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh, Sunil Gavaskar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Amit Sadh were among others.
Aamir Khan become emotional after watching the film. Aamir khan praises Sonam Kapoor acting and said that the film is about bravery and it is based on true story. Inspite of having leg injury, hrithik roshan attended screeing.
