Akshay Kumar Will Play Lawyer In Sequel Of "Jolly Llb"

Akshay Kumar is one of Bollywood's busiest actors. The actor, who is known to release four films a year, is reportedly in talks with director Subhash Kapoor to essay the titular role in the sequel to the 2013 sleeper hit, Jolly LLB.
It is said that director Subhash Kapoor had offered the role of lawyer Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly to Akshay Kumar in the first part, titled ‘Jolly LLB’. Akki couldn’t do it and Arshad Warsi was finally taken on board in the movie and the Bollywood comic played the part to the hold. Though the official confirmation is still awaited from the film’s stable, the celebs and cinema world cast and crew seem to have had several meetings on the same lines. While ‘Jolly LLB’ had Boman Irani pitched against Arshad Warsi, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ may feature Paresh Rawal playing the role of another lawyer pitted opposite Akshay Kumar.
Subhash Kapoor,the director has discussed the script with Akshay Kumar, who is excited about the idea.
Like Arshad Warsi in Jolly LLB, Akshay Kumar will essay the character of a lawyer in the sequel to the much-loved film.
The shooting of Jolly LLB 2 is expected to commence from October/November this year and the movie will be Akshay's second release of 2017 after Namaste England.
Akshay is currently shooting for Robot 2.0 in Chennai, following which the actor will start the promotional campaign of upcoming comic Housefull 3. Akshay's third film of the year, Rustom, releases on 12 August 2016.
A chunk of the film will be shot in Uttar Pradesh.

Akshay Kumar And Hrithik Roshan Set For Box Office Clash

Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan are set to lock horns at the box office with “Rustom” and “Mohenjo Daro”, releasing in August.
There were reports that makers of “Rustom” are negotiating with Ashutosh Gowariker to push release date of his film, “Mohenjo Daro”. They claimed in reports that they had announced the release date of August 12 first.
“As the spokesperson of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, I would like to clarify that he has not been spoken to and that there is no change in the release date of ‘Mohenjo Daro,’ the statement said.
As officially announced more than a year ago, on January 15, 2015, the film will release on August 12, 2016. There is a specific promotional plan in place for our film and our campaign will begin as scheduled by our team for the same.
“Mohenjo Daro” is an epic love story, set in the Indus Valley civilization. As per reports, the film is about the protagonist falling in love with his enemy’s daughter with Hrithik and newcomer Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
Akshay Kumar-Ileana D’Cruz starrer “Rustom” on the other hand is reportedly a film based on the 1959 Nanavati case .It is directed by Tinu Suresh.

Malamaal Song Released of Film Housefull 3

After releasing ‘Pyar Ki’ and ‘Taang Uthake’, the makers of ‘Housefull 3’ have released a new song called ‘Malamaal’. The groovy beats and musical hook make ‘Malamaal’ the perfect wedding song of the year.
Resound by Mika Singh, Akira, Miss Pooja and Kuwar Virk, the song features Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Lisa Haydon matching steps.
The story of ‘Housefull 3’ has been kept under wraps but reportedly will feature a romance between Akshay’s character and Abhishek.
Directed by Farhad-Sajid, Housefull 3 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Eros International. The film is slated to release on June 3, 2016.

Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth To Shoot At Delhi’S Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

The action sequences will feature Rajinikanth and the film’s competitor Akshay Kumar, and will be shot at a section of Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in New Delhi.
“Some high-octane action sequences will be shot in this schedule, which will last for over a month. Some key portions will be shot at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the rest will be shot in and around the city,” a source from the film’s unit.
These action sequences will feature Rajinikanth and the film’s competitor Akshay Kumar, and will be shot in a section of the stadium, which is also hosting the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016.
“The team has expensive sets to shoot this action portion,” the source added.
Directed by Shankar, the film also stars Amy Jackson.

Akshay Kumar To Replace Saif Ali Khan In The Remake Of 'Chef'

Looks like 2016 is Akshay Kumar's year. Starting the year with a bang, the Airlift actor is all set to rule this year. Akshay Kumar has been roped in for the remake of Hollywood movie 'Chef' directed by Jon Favreau.
Earlier, Saif Ali Khan was supposed to star in the movie. Akshay is yet to sign the film but a close source revealed that the makers of the film are planning on replacing Saif with Akshay.
Besides this, Akshay is also a better fit for the role as compared to Saif, given that Akshay once was a cook in Bangkok.
Chef was released in 2014 starring Jon Favreau, Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergera and Robert Downey Jr. The film was written, produced and directed by Favreau himself. The film revolves around the life of a professional chef who quits his job at a popular Los Angeles restaurant and launches a food truck with his friend and son.
The remake of the film will be produced by Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment, Eros International and Alumbra Entertainment.
Well, we are all set to watch out for Akshay the 'Chef'.
At present Akshay is busy with "Rustom", Tinu Suresh Desai's thriller set in the 50s, after which he begins "Robot 2" alongside Rajinikanth. "Namastey England" of director Vipul Shah.

Airlift Celebrate Success Party Of 100 Crore In 10 Days

Film Story :
The film captures the story of the Indians stuck in Kuwait during that time, through the eyes of Ranjit Katiyal and a few other characters. This is a story about how these Indians, with the help of Ranjit Katiyal, managed to survive the Iraqi invasion, and against all odds, move across Iraq into Jordan, from where they were brought home to India by the largest ever Airlift attempted in the history of the world.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s Airlift crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office recently and the team celebrated their success by hosting a small party.

The entire cast and crew of Airlift gathered at a suburban hotel to celebrate the success over food and drinks. Akshay and Nimrat Kaur were joined by producer Bhushan Kumar and director Raja krishna Menon to celebrate their super success.
