• Sonam Kapoor received enthuse reviews for 'Neerja' and if reports are to be believed then the young actress will be collaborating again with Atul Kasbekar for a women-centric film. the movie is heavily inspired by the 1998 German thriller film, 'Run Lola Run'. 
• It revolved around a woman who needs to obtain 100,000 Deutsche Mark in twenty minutes to save her boyfriend's life. Tanuj Garg (the former CEO of Balaji Telefilms) are working on the remake of 'Run Lola Run'. 
• They have bought the official rights and are adapting the script to suit the Indian audience. An official announcement is likely to be made soon.”
• On the other hand, Atul was quoted, "It’s an idea in the nascent stages. It’s too early to talk about it at length.”

Neerja Special Screening For Hijack Survivor

The movie stars Sonam playing in the title role and Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani in supporting roles. 'Neerja' is all set to hit theatres on February 19, 2016.

'Neerja' has been garnering a lot of praises ever since the promo of the movie hit screens. The movie is a biopic based on the life of senior flight crew member, Neerja Bhanot who became the youngest recipient of the Ashok Chakra, the highest civilian honour conferred by the Government.

neerja' director, Ram Madhvani will be organizing a special screening of the movie for one of the hijack survivor, Shirin Kureshi.
