For the first time in the history of Johar’s Dharma Productions, their film will have its first trial show for family and crew on Sunday, five days ahead of release.
This unique marketing strategy of using the surname that runs through the film to promote the film among the families with the same surname in the film industry is likely to be a one-of-its-kind phenomenon in the film industry.
Says a source from the film’s core team, “The industry is filled with Kapoors and Khans. And since Kapoor & Sons is a film about a the family of Kapoor, Karan will show it to the entire Kapoor clan (descendants of Raj and Krishna Kapoor) in one show. Similarly, he will host one for his pal Ekta Kapoor’s parents Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor, their family and other relatives. A third screening will be held for Boney and Anil Kapoor and their families. Then there is the other lesser known Kapoors in Bollywood who will also be invited.
He plans to show Kapoor & Sons to all his friends ‘Kapoor’ friends in the film industry throughout the week leading up to the release on Friday.
After the astonishing success of Kar Gayi Chull, another track called Let’s Nacho has been released from Kapoor and Sons. The song is sung by Badshah and Benny Dayal and music were given by Nucleya and Benny Dayal.
While Alia Bhatt looks mind-blowing, Fawad Khan and Siddharth Malhotra are also setting the temperatures rising.
In the song, you’ll see Fawad failing about a lot! As we all know, Sidharth is not a very good dancer but this video sure proves that he’s very hardworking because he has done a good job! And as usual, Alia has been rocking throughout the song.
